The Lamborghini Huracan had big shoes to fill when it replaced the Gallardo in 2014, and with the Huracan number 14,022 rolling off the assembly line recently, the model has done an impressive job of surpassing its predecessor in just 5 years. The Gallardo had a production run of 10 years (2003 to 2013) with a total of 14,022 units produced.
The Huracan made its world debut in 2014 as a Coupé, followed by the Spyder and the rear-wheel-drive variants. These models were followed by the Huracan Performante, Performante Spyder, and the most recent ones, the Huracan EVO and EVO Spyder. At this year’s Monterey Car Week, Lamborghini launched the Huracan EVO GT Celebration, a limited edition model only for the North American market.
The commemorative model with chassis number 14,022, a Huracan EVO coupe in Grigio Titans (grey), is destined for the Korean market.

In the first 6 months of 2019 (from 1 January to 30 June), Lamborghini delivered a total of 4,553 cars – an increase of 96 percent compared to the same period last year. The Huracan accounted for 1,211 units, including deliveries during the Performante’s phase-out period and introduction of the new Huracan EVO, of which first customer deliveries started in June 2019. The Aventador, the brand’s V12 flagship headed by the SVJ, maintained its high levels, with 649 units delivered to customers.
