Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M Ltd.) sold a total of 36,085 vehicles (domestic + exports) in August 2019 as against 48,324 vehicles in the same period last year, registering a decline of 25 percent. In the Passenger Vehicles segment (which includes UVs, Cars and Vans), M&M sold 13,507 vehicles in August 2019, a decline of 32 percent compared to 19,758 vehicles in August 2018.
The Commercial Vehicles segment too saw a decline of 28 percent, and so are the 15 percent decline in total exports.
