After departing Jaguar not too long ago, veteran designer Ian Callum has started his own brand CALLUM. As a first project under the new brand, Ian has gone back to one of his creations, the previous generation Aston Martin Vanquish. He wants to make it better and it is called the Vanquish 25.
At first glance, the Vanquish 25 might not look all that different to a casual eye, but take a closer look and you’ll see that the re-imagination has gone into the details crafted in carbon fibre. The front fascia has been given a reworked bumper with additional grille and air inlets-decorated carbon inserts.
The rear-end looks interesting too with an integrated carbon diffuser and contrasting tailpipes that match with the brake calipers. It’s not all visual though. The front and rear tracks have been widened, dampers are tuned, springs are customized, and larger anti-roll bars are fitted front and rear to improve steering. The 20-inch wheels house large carbon-ceramic brakes.

The interiors have been made much better too with tasteful application of carbon fibre and orange accents. The abstract tartan pattern you see on the exterior can also be seen on the seats and on the rear parcel shelf. Callum has integrated an 8-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility. The rear seats house a custom luggage set by Mulberry.
As for the business end, the V12 engine delivers an extra 60 bhp, and for the first time, the Vanquish gets an option of a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. As you’d expect, the exhaust note has been tuned as well.
Callum is building only 25 bespoke units and according to reports, the donor cars will either be sourced by Aston Martin or from the existing owners.
