Hyundai India has commenced bookings for a new model called Grand i10 Nios, for a deposit of Rs 11,000. The bookings can be done on the official Hyundai website and at the dealerships as well. The Nios will be sold alongside the regular Grand i10.
As the photo would suggest, the Grand i10 Nios gets a reworked front fascia, based on Hyundai’s latest design language seen on cars such as the new Elantra and new Sonata. The grille and the fog lamp housing has been made sharper; the triangular DRLs are housed within the new Cascading grille. The headlamps have been redesigned as well. Other changes we can see are front fenders and new wheels. The side profile and the rear-end is yet to be fully discovered.
Interiors get a new dashboard, new housing for the touchscreen infotainment system, new instrument cluster, and a new steering wheel. There are new dual-tone door pads and new seat upholstery as well. The name Nios apparently means More. “More features, More space and More excitement to live a happy millennial life,” the company says.
