Ducati has launched the Diavel 1260 in India, priced at Rs 17,70,000 for the standard and Rs 19,25,000 for the 1260S; prices are ex-showroom, Pan India.
Standard features on both models include full LED lighting, 3.5-inch TFT color display, cruise control, Ducati Power Launch Evo (DPL), Riding Modes, Power Modes, Ducati Wheelie Control Evo (DWC), and Ducati Safety Pack that includes Bosch Cornering ABS Evo and Ducati Traction Control Evo DTC.
While the 1260 gets an adjustable usd fork at the front and preload and rebound adjustable monoshock at the rear, the 1260S gets fully adjustable suspension system from Öhlins. Also included as standard in the 1260S are Ducati Quick Shift up/down Evo (DQS), and Ducati Multimedia System (DMS).
Braking duties on both variants are handled by 2 x 320 mm semi-floating discs at the front with radially mounted Brembo monobloc 4-piston calipers, and a single 265 mm disc at the rear with 2-piston Brembo floating caliper. The 17-inch alloy wheels are shod with Pirelli Diablo Rosso III tyres measuring 120/70 at front and 240/45 at the rear.
As the name suggests, the Diavel 1260 is powered by a 1262 cc L-Twin, liquid-cooled engine, producing 117 kW (159 hp) at 9500 rpm and 129 Nm of torque at 7500 rpm, paired to a 6-speed gearbox.
