Hyundai seems to be gearing up to launch the Verna facelift in the Chinese market, as an uncamouflaged unit has been spotted by the local media. As the photos would suggest, the changes appear to be mainly on the front and rear fascias.
While both ends have creases and sharp angles, the designers seem to have gone overboard with the front fascia especially when you look at the grille beams and headlamp internals. The rear bumper has a plastic insert on the lower end with an integrated stop lamp. Notice the new alloy wheels too.
It’s nearly two years since the 5th generation Verna was launched in India, and it’s probably time for a facelift to arrive in the country too. Let’s see if it’s this one.
