The new generation Thar development is in full swing and Mahindra wants to put some final signatures on the current one before bidding goodbye. The signatures are being put literally on the Thar 700, priced at Rs 9.99 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi.
As the name would suggest, the Thar 700 is limited to 700 units. Features of this special edition include a new, available Aquamarine color in addition to Napoli Black, decals on the bonnet and side, black finished grille, silver finish on the front bumper center, 5-spoke alloy wheels, leatherette upholstery with Thar logo on the inside, and ABS as well.
Other features include AC with heater, windshield demister, 12V power outlet, lockable glovebox, and provision for a 2-DIN music system.
We are delighted to introduce the last 700 units of our iconic off-roader, Thar, in its current avatar. We believe that the enthusiasts will see it as their last chance to own a piece of this Mahindra legacy, as a must-have garage collectible. The Thar is clearly an extension of our 70 years legacy and what brand Mahindra stands for. Over the years, it has successfully shaped the lifestyle vehicle segment while being popular with the off-road tribe – Veejay Ram Nakra, Chief of Sales and Marketing, Automotive Division, Mahindra & Mahindra
The limited edition also gets a special badge with Anand Mahindra’s signature, the Chairman of Mahindra Group.
