The Jaguar XE SV Project 8 carries license plates front and rear, meaning it can be driven on public roads too. However, Jaguar fears that the large rear wing might not be a good idea for those who drive more on roads. Which is why the Special Vehicle Operations is offering a Touring specification.
Simply put, the Touring specification replaces the Project 8’s adjustable carbon fibre rear wing with a discreet fixed spoiler. The fixed front splitter has been retained to maintain the aerodynamic balance.
The specification is available in 4 paint finishes – Valencia Orange, Velocity Blue, Corris Grey Satin and British Racing Green.
The 5.0L V8 Supercharged retains the 600 hp and delivers a 0-60 mph (97 km/h) performance in 3.3 sec and a top speed of 186 mph (300 km/h).
The Touring specification is available exclusively in four-seat configuration and is limited to 15 units.
