Isuzu has launched the V-Cross facelift in India, priced at Rs 15.51 lakh for the standard variant and Rs 17.03 lakh for the Z variant. Both prices are ex-showroom, Mumbai.
The design updates are based on the V-Cross facelift that was revealed for the Thailand market in 2017. The changes are mainly on the face, with a redesigned grille, new Bi-LED projector headlamps, and restyled bumper with new fog lamp housing. The B-pillar has been blacked-out, and there is a new set of 18-inch Diamond Cut alloy wheels. There is also a shark fin antenna, however, it is barely visible. The rear-end is more or less the same as the outgoing model.
The black-themed interiors get Piano Black highlights. Other features include PESS (Passive Entry & Start Stop System), 6-way electrically adjustable driver seat, black leather upholstery, cruise control, auto AC, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment, and 3 USB ports.
Safety and assistance features include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, Emergency Brake Assist, ESC, Traction Control, Hill Start Assist, Hill Descent Control, pretensioners with load limiters for front seats, driver & passenger seat belt warning, speed sensing auto door lock, rearview camera, and rear defogger.
Powering the V-Cross is the same 2499 cc 4-cylinder turbocharged (Variable Geometry) diesel engine (BS IV compliant) that produces 100 kW (136 metric hp) at 3600 rpm and 320 Nm of torque at 1800 – 2800 rpm; paired to a 5-speed manual transmission with shift-on-the-fly 4WD system.
Two new colors Sapphire Blue and Silky Pearl White join Ruby Red, Titanium Silver, Obsidian Grey, Cosmic Black, and Splash White.
