Audi wants to experiment with online sales of new cars from June 5, 2019, and the first model to be sold exclusively over this sales channel is the TT Quantum Gray Edition.
The special edition gets partial matt finish and TT lettering on the exterior, and express red design package for the interiors. Buyers can have the car delivered at the time and place of their choice within Germany. They can also have the vehicle registered beforehand with their desired license plate and inquire online about leasing or financing as well.
Retail dealerships are involved in this online sales pilot project. Audi expects e-commerce for all models to begin in April 2020. Limited to 99 units, the TT Quantum Gray Edition carries a price tag of €62,305.03.
We are garnering experience and learning a lot about user and buyer structures through this pilot project – Martin Sander, Vice President Global Marketing and Sales
Powered by a 2.0-litre in-line 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, the TT Quantum Gray Edition offers the same 245 hp and 370 Nm of torque, paired to a 7-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission.
Online sales is just one pillar of future sales. Brick and mortar retailing continues to be a strong and reliable partner for us even in times of digitalization – Sander
