The entry-level variant for the XUV500 is now W3, priced at Rs 12.22 lakh ex-showroom, Mumbai. The updated XUV500 was launched last year and the variants started at W5.
Key features of the W3 variant include projector headlamps, power-adjustable ORVMs, Jacquard Fabric upholstery, electrically operated dual HVAC, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, and disc brakes at all four corners.
Powering the XUV500 W3 is a 2.2-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged mHawk diesel engine that offers 114 kW (155 hp) at 3,750 rpm and 360 Nm of torque between 1,750 and 2,800 rpm, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission.
