While Aston Martin and James Bond is not a new love story, this DBS Superleggera adds a fresh new flavor to it. The special edition is called On Her Majesty’s Secret Service DBS Superleggera; to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the sixth James Bond film.
The film told the story of Bond villain ‘Blofeld’ and his attempts to hold the world to ransom, and how the 1969 Aston Martin DBS became the perfect car for 007 for his mission to save the world. As for the new DBS Superleggera OHMSS, the car is finished in Olive Green to match the original 1969 DBS.
A bespoke metal grille with 6 horizontal vanes, body-colored cantrails and roof, carbon fibre splitter and Aeroblade are some of the other exterior features. A modern 21-inch interpretation of the original’s spoked wheels round off the exterior looks. The design of the diamond-turned wheels looks rather busy.
Inside, the DBS Superleggera OHMSS is trimmed in pure black leather, accented by grey blend Alcantra, as in the original 1969 DBS. There are red accents inspired by the red-trimmed glovebox in the original car, which held 007’s telescopic-sight rifle. The 50 owners of this James Bond special edition will have the option to select a bespoke drinks case that fits into the boot space. The black drinks case reveals a matching red felt-lined interior, with space for two bottles of champagne and four champagne flutes.

The DBS Superleggera OHMSS carries a price tag of £300,007, with first deliveries commencing in Q4 2019.
