Understandably, the Alphard isn’t luxurious enough for a lot of people; which is why Lexus decided to give it their own treatment, and the result is this LM 300h.
The love-it-or-hate-it controversial design language is present here too, dominated by that massive spindle grille. The designers probably thought the Alphard already has a huge grille, we might as well make full use of that real estate. Design elements and L-shaped trim pieces from the latest Lexus cars can also be seen throughout the vehicle.
The interiors are all about sealing that business deal with full confidentiality, or just simply relax and get lost in your own world with your partner while the double-layered glass on the windows cuts out the exterior noises.
Features include that large 26-inch entertainment screen, 19-speaker audio system that can create a concert-like effect, 14-litre refrigerator that can hold two bottles of champagne or wine, and more. The occupants get a touch display on the armrest to adjust seat, air conditioning, audio system and pretty much whatever that’s available.
As you’d expect, the suspension has been tuned for “exceptional comfort”. Some of the design elements on the interiors are inspired by Chinese traditions.
Powertrains will be a 3.5L V6 petrol or a 2.5L petrol-hybrid. The luxury MPV will be sold in China and some Asian markets as well.
