FCA India has added one more trim to the Jeep Compass called ‘Sport Plus’, priced at Rs 15.99 lakh for the petrol and Rs 16.99 lakh for the diesel — both prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. As the name suggests, the Sport Plus bridges the gap between the base model and Longitude trims.
The additions include 16-inch aluminium alloy wheels, body-colored ORVMs and door handles, black roof rails, rear parking sensors, and dual-zone climate control.
Features such as steering mounted controls, electric parking brake, 5.0-inch Uconnect infotainment system, Frequency Selective Damping suspension, dual front airbags, ABS and EBD are carried over from the base Sport trim. Electronic Roll Mitigation is included too.
Powering the Compass Sport Plus is a 2.0-litre Multijet II diesel engine offering 173 hp and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque, and 1.4-litre Multiair petrol engine producing 163 hp and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque. Both are paired with a 6-speed manual transmission.
