The new Mercedes-AMG C 43 4Matic has arrived to India as a two-door Coupe only this time, with a price tag of Rs 75 lakh ex-showroom, Pan India. Previously, it was offered as a four-door sedan.
“The response to the AMG 43 range has been amazing since its debut with the AMG GLE 43, and today we give further fillip to the line-up with the AMG C 43 Coupe,” said Martin Schwenk, Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India.
The 3.0-litre V6 biturbo now offers 287 kW (390 metric hp) at 6,100 rpm and 520 Nm torque between 2,500 and 5,000 rpm, paired with an AMG SpeedShift 9-speed transmission. The C 43 Coupe accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 4.7 seconds and on to a limited top speed of 250 km/h.
The 4Matic system sends power to all four wheels but is rear-biased (31% to the front axle and 69% to the rear).
Features list includes Multibeam LED headlamps with adaptive high beam assist, 18-inch AMG 5-spoke light-alloy wheels, panoramic sunroof, 10.25-inch infotainment system, navigation, Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, 64 color ambient lighting, 2-stage AMG speed-sensitive steering with AMG specific tuning, AMG Dynamic Select drive programs, AMG ride control suspension, and AMG exhaust system. The new C 43 Coupe is customizable as well with MB’s designo platform.
Safety & Assistance systems include Active bonnet for pedestrian protection, Pre-Safe system, Adaptive brake lights, a driver kneebag, and Active Parking Assist.
