Ford India has launched the updated Figo, with prices starting at Rs 5.15 lakh, ex-showroom. Variant wise ex-showroom prices below –

The new Figo adopts the same design language that we first saw in the Ford Freestyle and later in the new Aspire as well. As we can see in the list above, there’s a new variant called Titanium Blu which might confuse you into thinking that its a hybrid. Its not.
The Blu variant just gets some visual treatment such as Black grille surround, Blue fog lamp bezels, 15-inch Black alloy wheels, black roof and some decals. The regular Titanium variant gets 14-inch alloy wheels. Other features include front fog lamps, rear fog lamps, OVRM-integrated blinkers, and blacked-out B-pillars.
Inside, the new Figo looks more or less the same as the new Aspire. Features include fabric upholstery, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with embedded navigation, 4 speakers, steering mounted controls, auto AC, power fold OVRMs and more. The Blu variant gets some additional features such as Blue accents on the door, rain-sensing wipers, auto headlamps and leather-wrapped steering wheel.
As for safety, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, driver & passenger seat belt reminder are standard across all variants. The higher variants get reversing camera, and side & curtain airbags (Blu). The Titanium AT gets ESP, Traction Control and Hill Launch Assist as well.
Powertrains
As with the Aspire, there are three engines on offer. The 1.2-litre petrol with 96 hp at 6,500 rpm and 120 Nm of torque at 4,250 rpm, the 1.5-litre petrol which develops 123 hp at 6,500 rpm and 150 Nm of torque at 4,500 rpm, and the 1.5-litre diesel engine offering 100 hp at 3,750 rpm and 215 Nm of torque at 1,750-3,000 rpm.
A 5-speed manual transmission is standard, while the 1.5L petrol gets a 6-speed automatic. Fuel efficiency is claimed at 20.4 km/l and 16.3 km/l for 1.2L and 1.5L petrol engines respectively, while the diesel is claimed to return 25.5 km/l.
There are a total of 7 colors to choose from – Ruby Red, Moondust Silver, Deep Impact Blue, Absolute Black, Smoke Grey, White Gold and Oxford White.
