After finishing customer previews across India, Tata Motors has finally launched the Harrier SUV, with prices starting at Rs 12.69 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi. Variant wise ex-Delhi prices below –

The Tata Harrier is built on OMEGA (Optimal Modular Efficient Global Advanced) architecture – derived from Land Rover’s D8 platform. The SUV measures 4,598 mm in length, 1,894 mm in width (without mirrors) and 1,706 mm in height. Wheelbase measures 2,741 mm and ground clearance is at 205 mm.
Some of the key features of the Harrier include the debut of Impact Design 2.0, 8.8-inch floating infotainment system, 9-speaker JBL audio, instrument cluster with 7-inch display, cruise control, 6 airbags, ESP and more. Powering the Harrier is a Fiat-sourced 2.0-litre “Kryotec” turbocharged diesel engine that is tuned to produce 103 kW (140 hp) at 3,750 rpm and 350 Nm of torque between 1,750-2,500 rpm. A 6-speed manual transmission sends power to the front wheels.
The first five customers and their families who booked the Harrier can be seen along with Guenter Butshek – CEO & MD, Tata Motors, and Mayank Pareek, President – Passenger Vehicle Business Unit, Tata Motors, at the launch event in Mumbai. They also received a scale model of the Harrier.
