The Toyota MR2 might not have achieved the same fame and glory as the Supra, but it’s a hot favorite among replica creators. Just Google “replicas based on Toyota MR2”, and you’ll know what i’m talking about.
While the Supra is coming back, there’s no word on the return of the MR2. However, that didn’t stop the Finnish designer Esa Mustonen from creating a new Concept of his own. Needless to say, it looks really good.
The designer has referenced Toyota’s current design language, which is “Under Priority Catamaran”, and mixed it with some concept car design cues and his own lines. Is it just me or the Concept reminds you of the R8 as well?
