These are the first official images of the Vitara Brezza rival from Mahindra, reportedly coming to a dealership near you in February 2019.
In case you couldn’t guess it, the XUV300 is the Mahindr-ized version of SsangYong Tivoli, that was showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo. As with the Alturas G4, Mahindra wants to give the SsangYong brand another chance in India, with a Mahindra badge.
The changes can be seen on the front and rear fascias, while the side profile or the silhouette, remains largely similar except for new 17-inch alloy wheels. Also notice the sunroof, and the roof rails which are most likely just for looks.
A very practical looking cabin
The interiors look interesting with dual-tone theme, touchscreen infotainment system and instrument cluster with MID. The top-spec variants are expected to feature HID projector headlamps, dual-zone climate control and 7 airbags.
At its home market in Korea, the Tivoli is offered with 1.6-litre petrol and diesel engines, paired to a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmissions. There’s an AWD variant on offer as well. However, for the Indian market, those engines might be a bit large.
