If the base Kodiaq (Style trim) isn’t luxurious enough for you, Skoda has added the range topping Laurin & Klement, priced at Rs 35,99,000 (introductory) ex-showroom, Pan India. The Kodiaq L&K made its world premiere at this year’s Geneva Motor Show.
On the exterior, the SUV gets LED headlights with illuminated “eyelashes”, silver roof rails, Laurin & Klement badges on the front fenders, and chrome trim for the rear bumper. The model pictured here rides on 19-inch Sirius alloy wheels, however, the Indian market will get 18-inch Trinity alloy wheels.
The Kodiaq L&K will be available in five colour options: Lava Blue, Quartz Grey, Moon White, Magic Black, and a new Magnetic Brown.
Features inside include Kodiaq-embossed aluminium door sill scuff plates, gloss black trim elements, L&K branded stone beige leather upholstery, virtual cockpit (customizable digital instrument cluster), 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and MirrorLink, 10-speaker Canton Sound system, ambient lighting, 360° Surround Area View, Hands-Free Parking, and Virtual Pedal (foot wave boot access).
The L&K also features a Digital Voice Enhancement feature, which transmits the driver’s and front passenger’s voice to the passengers in the rear via a microphone in the cockpit.
Safety kit includes a total of 9 airbags, iBuzz Fatigue Alert, AFS (Adaptive Front light System), ABS, EBD, ESC, MBA (Mechanical Brake Assist), MKB (Multi Collision Brake), HBA (Hydraulic Brake Assist), ASR (Anti Slip Regulation), and EDS (Electronic Differential Lock).
As with the Style trim, the Kodiaq L&K will be powered by a 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine which produces 148 bhp and 340 Nm of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via 7-speed DSG.
