That’s right. This is the SUV version of the R1T pickup truck we saw two days ago, and is equally impressive as its pickup sibling. It pretty much looks like an electric version of a Land Rover.
The spec sheet of the R1S is almost similar to the pickup, including the width, wheelbase and 330L frunk. Naturally, few things are different, such as the length (5,040 mm) and storage capacity at the rear (180L). The R1S also gets an additional 5 mm ground clearance which contributes to a 5 mm increase in its height.
The interiors are pretty much the same as the pickup version. As for the seating configuration, it is available either in a 7- or 5-seat configuration. Take a look at the full spec sheet below.
It appears that the top-end 180 kWh variant is offered only as a 5-seater. Price starts at $65,000 after the Federal Tax rebate.
