For some reason, if you happen to find the vanilla McLaren 720S to be boring, Novitec has a solution.
The German tuner has come up with a widebody kit made from carbon fibre, in association with Vittorio Strosek. The restyled front fenders and the rear side components completely replace their production counterparts, and use the original mounting points to bolt on to the chassis.
The N-largo rocker panels have integrated ventilation that channel the airflow to the rear brake discs and calipers. A roof scoop and naked-carbon housings for the wing mirrors add to the looks. Novitec says that all the components have been validated in the wind tunnel tests.
The 21-inch double-spoke wheels are developed by Vossen, and come in many different colors and optionally with brushed or polished surface. The wheels are shod with Pirelli P Zero tyres measuring 325/25. The ride height can be lowered by about 35 mm with the help of sport springs.
The 4.0 V8 twin-turbo gets a plug-and-play N-Tronic auxiliary control unit. In Performance Stage 2, the most powerful one, the engine puts out 592 kW / 794 bhp at 6,700 rpm and a peak torque of 878 Nm at 6,300 rpm. 0-100 km/h acceleration happens in 2.7 seconds and top speed is 346 km/h.
A high-performance exhaust system is also included in the package. The system features two tailpipes with a diameter of 95 mm and comes with a choice of polished or matte black stainless steel. Optionally, this sport exhaust can also be made from INCONEL, a lightweight material used in F1 racing.
Interiors can also be personalized with finest leathers and Alcantara in any desired color.
