If you’re one of those people who always wanted a Skoda Kodiaq but something didn’t seal the deal, well, you’re in luck. Skoda has revealed the one just for you. It’s called the Kodiaq RS — the first Skoda SUV to receive the RS honor.
Speaking of which, on the exterior, the Kodiaq RS gets special RS bumpers front and rear, gloss black treatment for the radiator grille, wing mirrors, window frames and roof rails, and dual tailpipes that look very sporty. LED headlamps and taillamps come standard as well. Rounding off the looks are 20-inch Xtreme alloy wheels with red-painted calipers.
The interiors of the Kodiaq RS were revealed last week. You can read more here. Highlights include a multifunction flat-bottom sports steering wheel, carbon fibre-effect dashboard, Alcantara-clad sports seats, virtual cockpit with sporty graphics, black roof lining, stainless steel pedal covers and a generous amount of red contrast stitching. The Kodiaq RS is available in 5- or 7-seat configurations.

Power
Interestingly, the Kodiaq RS is powered by a 2.0-litre biturbo diesel engine that produces 240 hp and 500 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed DSG that sends power to all four wheels. The performance SUV can sprint from 0-100 km/h in 7 seconds and on to a top speed of 220 km/h.
Skoda says the Kodiaq RS has Dynamic Sound Boost, which appears to pump fake sound into the cabin via speakers. Other features include Progressive Steering and Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC).
