Mercedes-Benz has launched the new Mercedes-AMG G 63 in India, priced at Rs 2.19 Crore ex-showroom, Pan India. The new G 63 marks the company’s 10th launch in the country in 2018.
The second generation G Class was globally revealed in January this year, and its AMG variant was revealed a month later.
The familiar 4.0-litre V8 biturbo replaces the previous 5.5-litre V8 biturbo, it develops 585 hp and 850 Nm of torque. The AMG Speedshift 9G TCT sends power to the all four wheels. You can read more about the new G-Class and G 63 via the links posted above.
Equipment list includes Multibeam LED headlamps, AMG performance steering wheel, nappa leather upholstery, gliding sunroof, Widescreen Cockpit with two 12.3-inch displays, 15-speaker Burmester sound system, 360-degree camera, and 64 colour ambient lighting.
Safety systems include 9 airbags, Active Lane Keeping Assist, Active Brake Assist, Attention Assist, and Pre-Safe system.
