Mini has launched the Cooper S Oxford Edition, priced at Rs 44.90 lakh, ex-showroom. Only 25 units will be available and as before, it’ll be sold exclusively at Amazon.
The Oxford Edition comes in two paint schemes – Midnight Black exterior with Solaris Orange roof, and Solaris Orange exterior with Jet Black roof. It also gets LED headlights, MINI Yours Customised 3D printed side scuttles, Customised LED door sills, Customised LED door projector, JCW aerodynamic body kit, piano black accents, 17-inch Track Spoke wheels with runflat tyres, panoramic glass roof, and LED union jack tail lights.
The Orange finished model comes with Carbon Black interior, while the Midnight Black model gets Malt Brown interior. Also included are Anthracite headliner, illuminated piano black dashboard, Harman Kardon sound system, 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment with navigation, and head-up display.
No mechanical changes. Powering the 3-door hatch is a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine which produces 192 hp and 280 Nm of torque. Transmission is a 7-speed double clutch steptronic, sending power to the front wheels. The car can sprint from 0-100 km/h in 6.7 seconds.
