The #MeToo Movement which has been pulling out some big names from different walks of life, has now hit the automotive industry.
In light of the enquiry by ICC, Suresh Rangarajan, has been asked to proceed on leave in order to allow for an objective enquiry to be completed as swiftly as possible.

Tata Motors’ Corporate Communications Head Suresh Rangarajan has been accused of inappropriate behaviour, and the company has sent him on leave in order to allow for an enquiry.

The allegations against Mr. Suresh were shared on social media by a journalist, and the company responded within hours.

“At Tata Motors, we have always striven to ensure a respectful and safe workplace for everyone. Any allegations are investigated and appropriate action is taken immediately. This matter has already been taken up for investigation by the Internal Complaints Committee, set up as per law,” the company said in a statement.
Suresh has been with Tata Motors since 2016. Prior to Tata, he worked for Vodafone and Nissan.
