Mahindra Powerol which made diesel generators and industrial engines so far, has now entered the sea with Seahawk range of marine engines. These engines range from 24 hp to 300 hp, and include 11 variants of marine engines and marine generators.
Mahindra claims that the Seahawk range of engines offer best in class fuel efficiency, superior technology and a robust tracking system for safety and service alerts. These engines are serviceable at the 3S network (Sales, Service & Spares) Marine Dealers set up in the coastal areas. Customers can also avail an annual maintenance scheme named Seahawk Care as an option.
The Powerol marine & industrial engines are designed at the company’s Chennai R&D facility and are manufactured at Pune & Nagpur facilities. Apparently, these engines cater to 25 types of applications including concrete mixers, concrete pumps, compactors and loaders.
Mahindra further said that the Powerol is ready with its BS-IV CEV range of engines as well.
