The last time we heard something about Nissan Sunny was when the car received a massive price cut last year. This time, there’s a Special Edition to talk about and it is priced at Rs 8.48 lakh, ex-showroom.
On the exterior, the Sunny Special Edition gets body decals, black roof wrap, black wheel covers and a rear spoiler.
The black interiors get new seat covers with tastefully applied red accents, new floor mats, 6.2-inch Audio-Visual Navigation system and NissanConnect connected car technology.
No mechanical changes. The Sunny Special Edition is offered with 1.5-litre petrol (99 hp, 134 Nm) or 1.5 litre diesel (86 hp, 200 Nm) engines. A 5-speed manual transmission is standard while the petrol variant gets an option of a CVT.
Dual airbags, speed-sensing door lock and driver seat belt reminder come as standard across all variants.
