Ducati has launched the Scrambler 1100 in India, priced at Rs 10.91 lakh for the standard variant, Rs 11.12 lakh for the ‘Special’ and Rs 11.42 lakh for the ‘Sport’ variant. All prices are ex-showroom, Pan India.
All three variants are powered by a 1,079 cc L-Twin air-cooled engine which delivers 86 hp at 7,500 rpm and 88 Nm of torque at 4,750 rpm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox with slipper clutch.
Braking duties are handled by 2 x 320 mm semi-floating discs at the front with Brembo 4-piston calipers, and a 245 mm disc at the rear with 1-piston caliper. All variants get Bosch Cornering ABS and Ducati Traction Control with 4 levels of adjustability as standard.
While the Standard and Special variants get Marzocchi fully adjustable 45 mm usd fork at the front and Kayaba monoshock at the rear with pre-load and rebound adjustable, the Sport variant gets Öhlins fully adjustable units front (48 mm) and rear.
The Special and Sport variants slightly differ in terms of dimensions as well. The height is shorter by 40 mm while the width is up by 25 mm. The Special variant gets spoked aluminum wheels while the other two get 10-spoke light-alloy wheels.
The bikes also get LED headlight with DRL, 3 riding modes, LCD instrumentation, aluminum body panels, and an under-seat storage compartment with a USB socket.
