Lexus has introduced the 7th generation ES mid-size sedan in India in the ES 300h (hybrid) variant, priced at Rs 59,13,000 ex-showroom, Pan India. The new ES range made its global debut in Beijing earlier this year.
The ES 300h is powered by fourth-generation Hybrid Drive System. The system combines an Atkinson cycle 2.5-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine with an electric motor, delivering a combined output of 160 kW (215 hp) and according to the company, around 22.37 km/l fuel economy.
The feature list includes LED headlamps, 18-inch alloy wheels, 7-inch LCD instrument panel, 12.3-inch Electro Multi Vision (EMV) display, 17-speaker Mark Levinson Pure Play system, 10 airbags, Hill Start Assist, Vehicle Stability Control, and Anti-theft system.
The car also gets 454 litres of cargo space with an auto-open trunk, that also fits in a full-sized spare wheel.
