It looks like the Volvo’s baby SUV – XC40 is indeed a big success. The Karnataka dealer Martial Motors has delivered 12 units of XC40 in 1 day. The Bengaluru dealership has among the highest bookings in the country.
No surprises there, as the car was swarmed by the potential customers when it was previewed in the city last month. So much so that i couldn’t get any more photos of the car.

The XC40 was launched in India on July 4, just over a week ago, in the single R-Design trim. More variants are expected soon.
Volvo Cars have recorded a 33% growth in Jan-June 2018 versus last year. The robust sales performance of 1242 units is spearheaded by the XC60 which contributed 25% of the total volume, the company said.
