The Jeep Compass has sold more than 25,000 units in India ever since its launch in July last year. To commemorate the sales milestone, FCA India has launched the Compass Bedrock limited edition, priced at Rs 17.53 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi.
The Bedrock is based on the entry-level Sport trim. It features reverse parking camera, 16-inch gloss black alloy wheels, side step for ingress, Bedrock-branded seat covers, black roof rails, premium floor mats, Bedrock decals and the Bedrock monogram (badge).
The limited edition model is available only with the 2.0-litre Multijet II turbo diesel which delivers 173 PS and 350 Nm of torque. Transmission is a 6-speed manual sending power to the front wheels (4×2).
There are three colours to choose from – Vocal White, Minimal Grey and Exotica Red.
Kevin Flynn – President and Managing Director, FCA India, said – “With the Jeep Compass, FCA India has secured its best sales within a 12-month period, in the last 10 years. We are celebrating our 25,000 sales milestone with Indian customers by giving them the Jeep Compass Bedrock Limited Edition.”
FCA India celebrated the first year of Jeep Compass production on June 1 this year in Ranjangaon, which is one of FCA’s four Global manufacturing and export hubs. The company has exported over 8000 Compass SUVs to 7 other markets including Japan, Australia, the UK and Ireland.
Currently, FCA India has 65 sales and service outlets across India and plans to increase the count to 70 this calendar year.
