Alfa Romeo has revealed the Giulia and Stelvio ‘NRING’ Nürburgring limited editions. Both are Quadrifoglio variants and are limited to 108 units each, and are available for the EMEA region.
The company adds that these limited edition cars are “intended for collectors and the most loyal Alfa Romeo customers”.
On the exterior, both models get a unique Circuito Grey livery and some delicious-looking carbon bits. Giulia gets a new bare carbon roof while the Stelvio features an electrically operated panoramic roof. Standard equipment on the NRING special series includes carbon-ceramic brakes.
Interiors get Sparco racing seats in carbon shell structure, red contrast stitching, Mopar automatic transmission knob with carbon insert, leather and Alcantara steering wheel, and generous carbon inserts.
Other features include Adaptive Cruise Control, Harman Kardon premium audio package and an 8.8-inch Alfa Connect 3D Nav infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and DAB.
Power
The Quadrifoglio models are powered by a 2.9L V6 biturbo engine, delivering 510 hp and 600 Nm (442 lb-ft) of torque. The Stelvio Quadrifoglio has lapped the 20.8 km of the Nordschleife in 7 minutes 51.7 seconds while the Giulia Quadrifoglio has a lap time of 7’32”. The SUV can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and on to a top speed of 283 km/h (176 mph). The sports sedan on the other side does 0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and has a top speed of 307 km/h (191 mph).
The engine features cylinder deactivation system and sailing function (coasting) — available in Advanced Efficiency driving mode.
Both models get an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission which is calibrated to shift in just 150 milliseconds in Race mode. Power is sent to all four wheels via Q4 all-wheel-drive system.
Other systems include Chassis Domain Control, Active Torque Vectoring system, Active Suspension, ESC and DNA Pro selector (Dynamic, Natural, All Weather) with Race Mode.
