Lexus India has added the LX 570 to its portfolio, priced at Rs 2,32,90,000 ex-showroom, Pan India. The 570 is the petrol variant of the LX 450d that was launched in India over a year ago.
The features are pretty much the same as the 450d as you would expect, including the luxurious cabin with Shimamoku trim — alternating layers of dark and light wood veneer; multi-function steering wheel, wireless charging, 19-speaker Mark Levinson audio system, and Climate Concierge — a network of 14 sensors that compute the climate for all four passenger zones inside the car.
Powering the LX 570 is a massive 5.7-litre V8 petrol engine, delivering 362 bhp at 5,600 rpm and 530 Nm (391 lb-ft) of torque at 3,200 rpm. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels. The SUV is claimed to sprint from 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 7.7 seconds and on to a top speed of 210 km/h (130 mph).
There is a drive mode select with four drive modes: NORMAL, ECO, SPORT S and SPORT S+. Other features include Adaptive Variable Suspension, rain-sensing wipers and 4-Camera Multi-Terrain Back Monitor System.
Safety kit includes 10 airbags, ABS, Brake Assist System (BA), Traction Control (TRC), Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Hill-Start Assist and Tire Pressure Alert.
