The India division of Mitsubishi has launched the 2018 Outlander with prices starting at Rs 31.95 lakh ex-showroom, Mumbai. The Outlander is imported to India as a CBU, and is available only with a petrol engine.
Speaking of which, the 2.4-litre (2,360 cc) 4-cylinder engine develops 167 hp at 6,000 rpm and 222 Nm of torque at 4,100 rpm, paired with a CVT.
The SUV features on-demand 4WD system with 4WD Auto, 4WD Eco and 4WD Lock modes.
Exterior features include full LED automatic headlamps with DRLs, LED fog lamps, LED rear combination lamps and power sliding sunroof with anti-trap functionality. The SUV rides on 16-inch alloy wheels shod with 215/70 tyres.
Interiors get genuine leather upholstery, Rockford Fosgate 6.1-inch two DIN audio system, dual-zone climate control, cruise control, electric parking brake with auto hold, rain sensing wipers and more.
Safety equipment includes 7 airbags, ABS with EBD, Brake Assist System, Active Stability Control, and Hill Start Assist.
The SUV measures 4,695 mm in length, 1,810 mm in width and 1,710 mm in height. Wheelbase measures 2,670 mm and the ground clearance is at 190 mm (unladen).
The Outlander is available in 7 colors – Black Pearl, Cosmic Blue, Orient Red, Titanium Gray, White Solid, White Pearl and Cool Silver.
