Ford India has launched the ‘Freestyle’ with prices starting at Rs 5,09,000 ex-showroom, New Delhi. Variant-wise introductory ex-showroom prices below –

Dubbed as “India’s first Compact Utility Vehicle (CUV)”, the Ford Freestyle is offered with a choice of 1.2L petrol or a 1.5L diesel engine. The petrol is a 1,194 cc 3-cylinder unit, producing 96 hp at 6,500 rpm and 120 Nm of torque at 4,250 rpm. On the diesel side, there is a 1,498 cc 4-cylinder turbocharged unit, delivering 100 hp at 3,750 rpm and 215 Nm of torque between 1,750-3,000 rpm. Both engines are paired with a 5-speed manual transmission.
The feature list includes SYNC 3 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Auto AC, rain-sensing wipers, auto headlamps, 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, Active Rollover Prevention, reversing camera and more.
There is also an Emergency Assistance feature which in case of an accident, shuts off the fuel pumps and automatically shares the vehicle’s GPS location with the emergency services.

The Ford Freestyle is available in 6 exterior color choices – Canyon Ridge, Smoke Grey, Moondust Silver, White Gold, Oxford White and Absolute Black.
