Along with the Vento Sport, Volkswagen India has launched the limited edition Polo Pace, available only in petrol, priced at Rs 5.99 lakh ex-showroom, Pan India.
The Polo Pace is based on the mid-spec Comfortline trim, and features aesthetic upgrades. Unlike the aforementioned Vento Sport, the Polo Pace doesn’t get the gloss black roof or carbon finished ORVMs. It gets only the 15-inch “RAZOR” Diamond Cut Alloy wheels.
Rest of the features are carried over from the Comfortline trim, which includes manual AC, cooled glove box, CD player, bluetooth connectivity, MirrorLink, front & rear fog lamps, anti-pinch power windows, dual front airbags and ABS.
Steffen Knapp, Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars India said, “At Volkswagen, we constantly enhance our product offerings to keep up with the fast changing trends and consumer aspirations. The Polo and Vento have been amongst our best-selling carlines since its inception in the Indian market. Through continuous value additions in our product portfolio, we aim to give our customers the power of choice.”
Just to remind, Volkswagen replaced the 1.2L petrol engine with a smaller 1.0L unit recently. More on that here.
