The Range Rover Evoque Convertible is finally in the Indian market, nearly two years after it was imported for testing and homologation purposes. Dubbed as India’s first luxury convertible SUV, the Evoque Convertible is priced at Rs 69.53 lakh ex-showroom, Pan India.
The Z-Folding roof can open in 18 seconds and at speeds of up to 48 km/h (30 mph). The drop-top SUV rides on 18-inch alloy wheels.
Features include adaptive full LED headlights, configurable interior ambient lighting, perforated Windsor leather seats, 12-way electric front seats with memory, Head-Up Display, Wi-Fi Hotspot, InControl Touch Pro Navigation (10-inch), Meridian sound system and Surround Camera System.
Powering the Evoque Convertible is a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbo petrol engine from the Ingenium family, producing 177 kW (241 metric hp) and 340 Nm (251 lb-ft) of torque. Transmission is a 9-speed automatic sending power to all four wheels. Torque Vectoring by Braking for agility & stability during cornering, and All Terrain Progress Control (ATPC) for challenging conditions are present too.
