British motorcycle brand Triumph has launched the new Tiger 800 range of adventure motorcycles in India, priced at Rs 11,76,000 for the XR, Rs 13,13,000 for the XRx and Rs 13,76,000 for the XCx. All prices ex-showroom, Pan India.
According to the company, more than 200 component level engine and chassis updates and improvements have been made.
The Tiger 800 range is powered by a liquid-cooled 800 cc in-line 3-cylinder engine, producing 94 hp (70 kW) @ 9,500 rpm and 79 Nm of torque @ 8,050 rpm. The engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox.
Features include all LED lighting, 5-inch color TFT instrument display, 5 riding modes (Road, Off-Road, Rain, Sport, and Off-Road Pro), updated cruise control, Switchable ABS and traction control, and heated grips.
