MG Motor India, which is expected to start its retail operations in 2019, organised an exclusive MG Owners Drive at the 8th edition of the 21 Gun Salute Vintage and Classic Car Rally & Concours Show, in Gurugram, on Sunday.
The owners had traveled from Delhi, Chandigarh, Jaipur and other places to participate in the rally. The event was flagged off from Golf Course, Ambience Greens in Gurugram. The event also celebrated its customers for their long association with the brand.
The MG cars in the rally included 1935 P-Type Roadster, 1945 MG TC, 1956 MG Midget, MGB and MGB GT.
The UK-based brand is owned by SAIC Motor – GM’s partner in China. The company has hired former GM executives for its India operations, Rajiv Chaba will lead the brand as the President and MD, while P. Balendran will be the Executive Director.
