Mahindra has announced that they’ll be showcasing a convertible SUV concept named ‘Stinger’ at the 2018 Auto Expo, which opens its doors to the media on February 7th.
6 new electric vehicles will also join the Mahindra pavilion under the theme ‘Future of Mobility’, which according to the company, is based on the three pillars of Clean, Connected & Convenient (3Cs).
In addition, there will also be a display of a first of its kind future electric architecture and an electric mobility platform that will drive connected experiences for consumers. Further, the showcase of an aspirational global SUV and a Stinger concept are nothing short of being ‘objects of desire’, the company said.
Interestingly, ‘Stinger’ is a new sports sedan from Kia, which has been getting a lot of attention these days. Kia will also be present at the Auto Expo showcasing its global line up which includes the aforementioned sports sedan. Kia’s new SP Concept will debut at the Auto Expo.
Does this mean that Mahindra has trademarked the ‘Stinger’ name in India? Not sure.
