Royal Enfield has launched Himalayan Sleet in India, priced at INR 2,12,666, on-road, Chennai. The bike is finished in camouflage-like paint job and is limited to 500 units.
Interested folks can register themselves online till January 30, 2018. The sale will go live on the last day — January 30, on a first-come-first-serve basis. On the day of the sale, the customer needs to make a payment of INR 5,000 to book the Sleet.
The bike also gets an Explorer kit as a part of the package. It includes 26 litres water-resistant aluminium panniers; off-road style aluminium handlebar with cross brace for added strength, handlebar end weights; and an engine guard with powder coat finish.
There are no mechanical changes. Powering the bike is a 411 cc single-cylinder fuel injected 4-stroke engine, producing 24.5 bhp at 6,500 rpm and 32 Nm of torque at 4,250 rpm, paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
