In a letter written to its Kwid 0.8L customers, Renault India has announced a voluntary recall to inspect a possible flaw in the steering system of a select few aforementioned 800 cc cars.
The French manufacturer didn’t disclose how many units are affected. “This inspection is to evaluate the overall functionality and safety of the steering system,” the company said.
Renault is advising the customers to approach the nearest dealer, where the workshop would inspect the steering system and take necessary measures if required without any cost to the customer.
