The 5th generation Hyundai Verna has now got 1.4L petrol option, replacing the 1.6L unit of the E and EX manual variants, priced at Rs 7,79,990 and Rs 9,09,990, respectively. Prices ex-showroom, Delhi.
The car was initially launched only with 1.6L petrol and diesel units.
The 1.4L Kappa 4-cylinder petrol engine delivers an output of 100 PS @ 6000 rpm and 13.5 Kgm (132 Nm) of torque @ 4000 rpm. The engine is paired to a 6-Speed manual transmission. Fuel efficiency is claimed to be 19.1 km/l.
As for the features, the 1.4 carries over all the equipment of the E and EX variants. These include 5-inch touchscreen, Electrically adjustable ORVMs, dual front airbags, ABS and few more. Variant wise features in-detail here.
