Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) will showcase a new Concept Future S at the Auto Expo 2018 next month. Designed in-house at MSIL, the concept features the formula of a modern compact crossover, and is expected to slot below the Vitara Brezza.
The two-box design’s first half give it an upright stance while the second half or the rear-end gives it a coupe-SUV look. Reports suggest that this might be an SUV-like styled hatchback, similar to the Renault Kwid.
Compact Future S marks a big shift in the way compact cars are designed in India, says the company.
The Future S will be built on Suzuki’s lightweight ‘Heartect’ platform, and is expected to hit the showrooms in 2019.
