Yamaha sells some really interesting two-wheelers in the international markets. One of them is the XMAX scooter.
In Europe, the XMAX is on sale in 125, 300 and 400 variants. The 250 variant was exclusive to the Japanese market and is now gradually making it to the ASEAN markets. Manufactured in Indonesia, the XMAX 250 was showcased in Malaysia few days ago.
Powered by a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled 249 cc ‘Blue Core’ engine, that delivers 23 PS @ 7,000 rpm and 24 Nm of torque @ 5,500 rpm, paired to a CVT.
The scooter has disc brakes at both ends. Other features include LCD display that displays a host of information, 2-eyed LED headlamps, LED tail lamps, adjustable handle position and windshield, 12V DC charger, 45 litres storage, smart key, ABS, Traction Control and more.
Fuel tank measures 13 litres and the scooter weighs 179 kg.
