The 5th generation of Toyota’s full size sedan Avalon will premiere on Monday, January 15, at the 2018 North American International Auto Show.
Except a teaser image above, no further details have been released. Media reports speculate that the new Avalon will be built on Toyota New Global Architecture Platform which underpins the new Camry as well. It’ll still be a front-wheel-drive model.
The 3.5-litre V6 and a 2.5-litre 4-cylinder hybrid are most likely to be carried over with better performance figures and efficiency.
