JLR India has launched the new Discovery at Rs 71.38 lakh ex-showroom, Pan India. There is a substantial increase in prices compared to the ones announced back in August, due to the GST changes. Below are the new list of prices –

As we can see above, the new Discovery is offered both in petrol and diesel variants. The 3.0-litre diesel makes 190 kW (258 hp) at 3,750 rpm and 600 Nm of torque at 2,000 rpm, while the 3.0-litre petrol makes 250 kW (340 hp) at 6,500 rpm and 450 Nm of torque between 3,500-5,000 rpm. Transmission is an 8-speed ZF auto with 4WD configuration.
Equipment list includes multi-mode Terrain Response 2, All-Terrain Progress Control (ATPC), semi-autonomous Tow Assist, 10-inch touchscreen, 14-speaker Meridian surround sound system, and Activity Key wristband.
