Maserati will be launching its first SUV – the Levante, soon in India. Evolved from the Kubang concept, the Levante was globally unveiled at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, and is now on sale in 72 countries.
The Levante is named after “a warm Mediterranean wind that can change from a light breeze to an irresistible natural force in an instant”.
Equipment list includes 8.4-inch capacitive touchscreen and a wide range of driver assistance systems.
Reportedly, the Levante is offered only with the 3.0 V6 turbo diesel for the Indian market. The motor produces 275 hp and 600 Nm of torque, paired to an 8-speed ZF auto. The Q4 all-wheel drive system is standard.
