The Skoda Octavia RS 230 which went on sale in India on September 1, 2017, has got its first batch of 250 units all sold out.
The Octavia RS 230 is imported to India as a CKD. According to John Repa, Head of Strategic Product Planning of Skoda Auto India, the next batch will arrive early-2018.
Enthusiasts in India were waiting for the RS variant ever since the 2017 Octavia was launched, and adding to the excitement was the positive reviews from the media and of course, an attractive price tag of Rs 24.62 lakh.
The Octavia RS 230 is powered by a 2.0-litre (1,984 cc) 4-cylinder TSI engine, which produces 169 kW (230 hp) between 5,500–6,200 rpm and 350 Nm of torque between 1,500-4,500 rpm. Transmission is a 6-speed DSG automatic driving the front wheels. Read more here.
